The catalyst that united TCRF’s scholarly publishing efforts.
During a research journey to Kerala, members of the team discussed the need for a modern resource that would help people learn the Tulu script.
Although a similar publication already existed, it followed older orthography. This gap in accessible materials inspired the writing and publication of Jeetige in February 2023.
As more research-led publishing initiatives followed, they were brought together under Punname Publications, forming the official publishing arm of the Tulu Cultural Research Foundation.
